Large reputable GTA Builder seeking a candidate for a full time on-site position to deal directly with customers and sub trades on a daily basis. The Customer Service Rep will operate from a site trailer in the north east end of Toronto. As a member of the customer care team, you will manage all customer service inquiries and schedule appropriate service work as required. Responsibilities will include and not limited to: conducting Pre-Delivery Orientations with customers for a new home; scheduling of all trades and service appointments for all after-sales service work; maintain and satisfy warranty deadlines; manage all incoming customer calls and correspondence; and follow-up with customers as required. This position requires an individual who has strong organizational and people skills with knowledge of the construction industry and the Tarion Warranty guidelines and policies. To provide onsite coordination for contractors/subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring specifications are being followed and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget.
Other responsibilities of the superintendent would include scheduling, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. Communicating with project team members regarding material and work being performed. Ensure that contractors are fully executing and complying with his contracted scope of work. Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate them to project team members for resolution. Walk all units on project daily to monitor activities and assist in future planning. Ensure that the job site is always kept in a clean and organized manner.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. People person and team oriented as well as having the ability to work independently. Works well under pressure and is well organized.
Site Service Technician
Providing service and customer Support to Home owners. Builds positive relationship with home owners. Managing all on site installations, repairs, and maintenance and test tasks. Diagnosing errors and problems and determining proper solutions. Is aware and knowledgeable of all Tarion guidelines, and follows all Tarion protocols and procedures. Cooperates with other team members and works well independently.
